Problem Note 48155: An out-of-memory exception might occur in the SAS® Add-In for Microsoft Office when previewing results that include 100 columns

Within the SAS Add-In for Microsoft Office, you have the ability to filter and sort your data, and then preview results before opening the results into a worksheet. However, if you display the maximum of 100 columns in the preview window, the following error might occur when you attempt to open the data into the worksheet.
System.OutOfMemoryException: Exception of type 'System.OutOfMemroyException' was thrown. at System.Collections.Generic.List'1.set_Capacity(Int32 value) at System.Collections.Generic.List'1.EnsureCapacity(Int32 value) at System.Collections.Generic.List'1.InsertRange(Int32 index, IEnumerable'1 collection) at SAS.Servers.DatasetColumn.UpdateValues(IList'1 rawValues, IList'1 formattedValues) at SAS.Servers.Dataset.Read(Int32 startRow) at SAS.OfficeAddin.Rendering.ExcelDataRenderer.RenderSasData(SasDataSource dataSource, Range destination,RenderState state, RenderOptions options, Int32 CachedRowCount) at SAS.OfficeAddin.Excel Addin.ProcessDataView( Job contentxt context, Range destination) at SAS.OfficeAddin.ExcelAddin.ProcessDataViews(JobContext context) at SAS.OfficeAddinBase.PostProcessJob(JobContext jobContext, Boolean promptOnErrors)
To circumvent this error, choose to preview less than 100 columns.
